— Cheat Mode Enabled —
The jujus given to Jane by Calliope and Caliborn are powerful, and some people have been throwing around the idea that this Trickster Mode - sourced from a very early easter egg in Homestuck’s flashes - could be part of the ‘glitch’ involved in the "glitches and exploits in spacetime" that may lead to Lord English’s defeat. But there’s much more to it than that.
You see, in the animations of the lollipops being alchemized and combined, you can find that the true artifact is within the sucker: AURYN, the amulet from the Neverending Story capable of granting any wish! It fits in with the candy associations of the tricksters, as the heroes in Problem Sleuth conjured candy weapons and armor with their imaginations to defeat monsters and the final boss. This juju isn’t just powerful, or a glitch. It’s CHEATING. A cheat code that gives you a silly appearance and turns all the grist you collect to Zillium, but lets you break an unimaginable number of rules.
And what ultimate cheater is on a crash course to obtaining this juju, causing unfathomable destruction, and even using it to come back to life?
Under the cut I’ll explain the reasoning, as well as how the juju might work, what it might be able to do, and why Lord English might be arranging to get his hands on it. As well as the risks… this artifact is rather dangerous, even to its user, isn’t it?
After all, every sugar high has a crash!
